UPDATE: CEO for Plus Size Retailer Steps Down

This week, Linda Heasley, who led the Ascena Group-owned plus-size retailers Lane Bryant and Catherine's, has left the company.

Formerly the CEO of Lane Bryant, Heasley was promoted to president and CEO of the Plus Fashion division (including LB and Catherine's) in October 2016 during a restructuring of the company.

Ascena (including retailers Ann Taylor and Dress Barn) have struggled with sales for the past few months. CEO David Jaffe has blamed sales decline of 5% due to election anxiety and chalked up past slow sales to unseasonable weather.

Update 1/26/17: The Honey Baked Ham Company just announced Linda Heasley as its new chief executive officer. She starts her new job Feb. 6, 2017.
