Ashley Nell Tipton Line Hits JCPenney

Last week, plus-size designer Ashley Nell Tipton announced her new line...of nail polish, with Sally Beauty Supply. Great, but a little bit of a letdown for anyone who's been anticipating her clothing line since winning season 14 of "Project Runway." The wait is over: Tipton recently unveiled her new line of plus-size clothing for JCPenney. As brand ambassador for JCP, Tipton's goal was to make her line accessible to the plus-size customer who takes style inspiration from the straight-size stores, with options. "I want to show personality," says Tipton. Starting in May, Tipton's plus-size line will hit Boutique+ (JCP's exclusive plus-size line) at its 500 stores within JCP with sizes ranging from 0X-4X, and online at jcp.com up to 5X. Prices range from $12.99 to $60.
