Editor Lists Weight in Twitter Bio
Nowadays, a buzzword like "transparency" is widely-used but rarely practiced. But if you're Sam Escobar, beauty editor of Good Housekeeping , you let everyone on your Twitter page what's up . Last week, Escobar listed their height/weight in their Twitter bio. Escobar, who uses gender-neutral pronouns, sees this as a way to shatter pre-conceived notions of "bad weight" vs. "good weight." “I think it’s weird how people have no idea what different weights look like,” Escobar tweeted last week. “It’s nice 2 b honest about my size/weight bc ppl are often surprised I shop plus size which proves they dont know what plus size look like.”
