Gwynnie Bee Goes to Lifetime

Lifetime unveiled its 2016-2017 development calendar today , and among the shows and made-for-TV movies on slated for the basic cable channel is a competition show that will include plus-size business Gwynnie Bee. "Fashion Inc." will feature fashion and beauty entrepreneurs who will compete for the chance to win money from a panel of accomplished investors to help develop their start-up businesses. The hour-long eight-episode series is scheduled to premiere later this year. On the show's judging panel is tech marketplace maven and CEO of plus-size clothing rental startup Gwynnie Bee, Christine Hunsicker; Katia Beauchamp, co-founder and CEO of beauty retailer Birchbox; celebrated fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff; and business mentor for the CFDA Incubator program and co-CEO of Hilldun, Gary Wassner. The show is from The Weinstein Company with executive producers Bob Weinstein, Harvey Weinstein, Patrick Reardon and Barbara Schneeweiss, with Matador and executive producers Jay Peterson, Todd Lubin and James Bruce. Lifetime's Eli Lehrer, Mary Donahue and David Hillman are named as executive producers.
