UPDATE: CEO for Plus Size Retailer Steps Down

This week, Linda Heasley, who led the Ascena Group-owned plus-size retailers Lane Bryant and Catherine's, has left the company . Formerly the CEO of Lane Bryant, Heasley was promoted to president and CEO of the Plus Fashion division (including LB and Catherine's) in October 2016 during a restructuring of the company. Ascena (including retailers Ann Taylor and Dress Barn) have struggled with sales for the past few months. CEO David Jaffe has blamed sales decline of 5% due to election anxiety and chalked up past slow sales to unseasonable weather. Update 1/26/17: The Honey Baked Ham Company just announced Linda Heasley as its new chief executive officer. She starts her new job Feb. 6, 2017.
