Khloe Kardashian Felt Ignored by Fashion Insiders...Until She Lost Weight
In a story with Harper's Bazaar, Khloe Kardashian admits she felt was taken more seriously by some fashion insiders after losing weight.
Kardashian is no stranger to the fashion industry as part owner of retail chain store DASH with her sisters Kourtney and Kim. However, she felt overlooked during photo shoots to promote the store and reality TV show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." From the interview:
"There would always be this attention on Kourtney and Kim, but I was too much work for [stylists] or they had nothing in my size. I wasn't even that crazy big!"
Kardashian's weight loss was a result of channeling her energy at the gym. Below, she talks about finding solace at Equinox:
"My home [with Odom] was dark and toxic," she says. "At the time, my family didn't know what I was going through. It was the biggest secret I've kept. I just needed a place to go."
No one will begrudge Kardashian for getting healthier as a result of finding a safe space. Her newly spiritual interview is certainly a far cry from what she said earlier this year. Will this side of Khloe be more prevalent on the E! show? We'll see.
