Is Mahalia Handley Eyeing Ashley Graham's Title?

Back in April, Strutter thought model Mahalia Handley needed no explanation and just posted her picture. Man, were we wrong.

Handley made waves as one of the models featured in Selfridges' body positive campaign. With jobs for Topshop, Cosmopolitan and the Kardashian Kollection under her belt, Handley wants more, like booking a job with Vogue. “I was telling my agent that I’m getting in that book this year and she laughed," Handley, 23, told Yahoo.com. "But, I was like ‘I’m not lying, its happening.’”

While industry insiders are calling her the next Ashely Graham, the Australian native won't knock Graham off her pedestal. "I love being compared to Ashley Graham. She featured as the first plus size model on Sports Illustrated and is literally breaking down all sorts of barriers and that’s something I aspire to do too. I love the thought that I could be another upcoming model on the block who can take it on with her, like superheroes side by side."

In an industry where stories of catfights are exchanged with excitement, hearing of plus size models supporting each other is something we can all get behind and share.
