Plus Size Superhero Coming to the Big Screen

In the past two years, we've written some stories about comic book hero Faith. According to Deadline.com. she'll now be the subject of a feature film.

Sony Pictures is in charge of the live action adaptation of Valiant Comics's superhero story Faith, and has hired American Gods writer Maria Melnik to pen the screenplay.

Faith made her debut in 1992 as a member of the Harbinger team, a superhero who can fly and has the ability to levitate other objects in her “companion field.” In film version, Faith lives in Los Angeles, where she goes undercover as a reporter.

Film release date is TBC.
