Revolve Misfires with Fat-Shaming Shirt

Earlier today, e-commerce site Revolve received flack on social media for this sweatshirt’s message.

According to the e-retailer, the sweatshirt’s message (an actual message to curve model Paloma Elsesser online) was to call out online trolling by claiming the phrase back. Or something like that. Elsesser was among those who spoke out agains Revolve’s sweatshirt.

Although it wasn’t mentioned on its website, proceeds from the estimated $210 sweatshirt (which went up to U.K. size XL- a U.S. size 12) were to be donated to charities to prevent cyber bullying.

Since the backlash, the sweatshirt has been removed from the site.
